Pokemon Plasma Freeze & Magic Dragon`s Maze
We have two really awesome pre-releases coming up: Pokemon`s Plasma Freeze and Magic the Gathering`s Dragon Maze!
Saturday April 27th at Noon join us for Plasma Freeze- $30 to enter, with deck construction starting at noon and games starting promptly at 1! Play the set way before it releases in stores at the official Pokemon Prerelease!
From Friday April 26th at Midnight through Sunday April 28th join us for Magic the Gathering: Dragon`s Maze! We`ll have several events with the main event occuring Saturday at 4PM. Preregister today and save $5 on the main event, otherwise:
- $25 Entry sealed Tournament
- Prereg now open
- Main event Only preregistration for the Dragon`s Maze Prerelease $25 entry. If you don`t prereg It will be a $30 entry at the door for the main event and $25 at the door for all others.
- Payment is due at time of preregistration. Preregistration closes April 20th at midnight.
- Tournament times:
- Midnight Friday
- 10AM Saturday
- 4PM Saturday Main Event
- Midnight Saturday
- 10AM Sunday
- 3PM Sunday
New Website & Weekend Anime Review
Welcome to our new website- just in time for April Fool's Day! We felt like we wanted something new: with all the bells and whistles... a facebook feed, a twitter feed, and a shiny new gallery. Hoozah!
Also of note, Sarah from GeekMom wrote an incredible review of yesterday's International TableTop Day! We had so many people that came to the store to enjoy gaming- from Takenoko to Miskatonic School of Girls. The store was bustling with excitement as people tried store demos and purchased new games to test themselves.

I had a lot of fun yesterday meeting new people and testing games. I ended up playing the DC Deckbuilding Game and Merchant of Venus- both of which I had never played before. For someone like me who really enjoys the thought of intergalactic trade and space battles, Merchant of Venus was a lot of fun! -Jay Harmon
Manga Program
Weekend Anime is proud to announce a manga program starting today- we are starting a buy 5 get 1 free program for those customers who collect manga! When you purchase a manga, any manga, you will receive a stamp card that we will sign off every time you purchase a book at full price. (Sorry, the $3 discount books do not work towards this discount!) After your fifth manga you will be able to select a book of equal or lesser value that day for free! The stamp cards will not expire, they can be combined (if you lose one and start another and then find your old one, etc), and they will be available while supplies last. Enjoy!
