What is Weekend Anime?

Welcome to Weekend Anime... Online! Weekend Anime is a fan-owned and run anime and gaming store in Westbrook, Maine that first opened in July 2003. With oodles of anime, roleplaying books, board games, card games, manga, books, swords, and more- we have something for everyone who's interested in the anime and gaming hobby. Ask us for recommendations, special orders, and new anime and games when you visit our store, or contact us with suggestions and comments! We run events every day so be sure to check out our schedule! We also host several clubs and organizations who hold meetings and events at our store such as PortConMaine and Maine Boffer Games. If you're having trouble finding our store please feel free to call us at 591-7070. There is also a public bus stop right in front of the 492 Main Street building.

What is our Mission?

We have worked hard since 2003 to bring together people in a community setting. We host events, run clubs, and frequently become involved with other community organizations. Our mission is to celebrate the geeky fandoms we all enjoy: whatever they may be. Anime, gaming, miniatures, roleplaying, board games, video games, crafting, and more- we want to help connect people to others who have interests in what we do. Come on down to Weekend Anime and hang out; the more the merrier!

Used, Used, and More Used!

We buy, trade, and sell used geek goods from manga, books, dvds, toys, board games, to video games, figures, posters, and more! If you have something you no longer enjoy and want to get something new or just need some extra cash- please consider bringing it into our store! We have one of the largest selections of used geek goods in Maine and have a pretty good flow to it, so there's always something new to find. From Power Ranger sleeping bags to Warhammer 40K figures, we have literally purchased, traded, and sold hundreds of unique items.

We also have a large collection of singles from various games including: Magic the Gathering, Heroclix, Pokemon, YuGiOh, and more. Call 207-591-7070 for more trade in information whether you're looking to buy or sell!
